It isn't necessary but
people are free to make their own decisions or at least they used to be and they should be. If all of those people were young, there is almost no risk to them. They should quarantine for 10-12 days to avoid spreading it further but at some point those at low risk have to be able to live their lives. JMHO of course. I take common sense precautions, wear a mask indoors, maintain a safe distance, and don't do a ton of socialization. However, I do go out to dinner. I do attend outdoor neighborhood events. I will be hosting a small Thanksgiving gathering (family only). For those not at high risk of serious illness, the mental and emotional scars of isolation are getting to be quite damaging, not to mention what closed schools are doing to the kids. Rant over.
