Of course, you'd better know when to move into and out of S&P and into->


other things (NASDAQ, etc). If you'd been living in S&P the past 6-8 months, you missed the HUGE NASDAQ gains. If you are too Tech heavy now, you are missing some S&P rallies...

I personally have found that it is WELL worth my paying a professional to manage my portfolio. I have one I like, trust and is making me $$$. If you want to play around, take a chunk you can afford to lose and play...That's just MY personal belief. To each his/her own.. I also have never invested with friends, although I have a couple in the business who are very good and I'd recommend. I just want it kept separate! Money can ruin good friendships. I can make more money, but I don't want to risk friends.

Nobody asked, but that is my whole investment strategy in a nutshell... :>)
