Helped enforce a couple retirement goals

from 2 1/2 years ago,

get my weight below 200# finally. Was roughly #215 when I retired, finally did it in September. (tip toeing the line these days, but maintaining)

Play a lot of tennis like I haven't been able to do since high school, either get good or at least get it out of the system, the ole "get back into it finally" I've got a national ranking of #177 for 60+ guys now. (no, that's not all that amazing, I'm sure a lot of would be competitors are dead now, but I'm pleased)
Working on my Spanish, I'll never be fluent, but again, one of those things (self image or something) now I've got time to do it, give it the ole college try once and for all and be satisfied with that.

The discipline of not being able to do a lot of other things has actually been pretty good, especially when tennis has been one of the allowed things during covid.

I do have a list of secret pleasures b/c of COVID eg DC beltway being clear of traffic last spring, not so much now, but man, that was wonderful, never see that again in my lifetime.

PS I'm not pleased they're dead - I meant - oh, forget it.
