I’m not sure what you should pay for this particular vehicle but having worked at a dealership (Parts Dept.) for 15 years I would get educated on how to negotiate with a dealer- tons of good YouTube videos that don’t take long to watch.

Personally, I would NEVER trade-in a car- it just plays into the dealers shell game and they can make you think you are getting a SWEET deal when the opposite is true. Consider saving big bucks and unload the car on Craigslist or sell it to a relative or whatever.

One more question- at this price point you are real close to Lexus RX 350 or Lexus NX territory, particularly if you get one that is a year or two old. Why not own the best brand on the market? Fiat-Chrysler is not a good brand these days. They used to be decent but not since Fiat bought in.
