Sounds like you need a little background noise in his/her bedroom


It worked for me.

When I was stationed in San Diego, rented a town house on Grand in PB. The weather was so nice, I never needed to run the AC, so I slept with the windows open. Unfortunately a trash truck, ambulance, teenage kid trying to better his 0-60 time down the street would often wake me in the middle of the night. I ended up closing the bedroom windows facing Grand, and slept with a TV running at a low volume. Bottom line: it worked.
