A team that beat Iowa State handily last year, wrestling us, which is pretty much the pinnacle of their season(so we were gonna get their best shot) and we were pretty close to blanking them. Most our guys haven’t competed in 10 months or longer, they are jumping through a ridiculous amount of hoops(covid tested 3 times a week) I’d say the first dual of the year was pretty good. Bolen was up 4-1 w/ 2:26 of riding time after the first, some guys are sneaky good with legs...don’t think there is much to worry about, he is as consistent as they come. If this team continues to progress and Covid doesn’t bite us down the road, I like our personnel.
