Probably not their problem to solve, but still their problem.
Say they go all-in on EV before anyone else. They build a great, reliable, and affordable EV that is even scalable for mass-market usage. None of that will matter if the mass market can't recharge the vehicle.
Me personally, I'd LOVE to have an electric car. But owning one is completely impractical for me. I have absolutely zero way to charge one. There is no plausible way to install a charger at my house, and I am not aware of a single commercial charging station anywhere along my daily travels.
So I would be a customer interested in their product, but incapable of buying it through no fault of their own.
