I hit one when I lived in Maryland

Thankfully it was just after I pulled out of my driveway on my way to work, so was only rolling around 15 mph when I hit it. No metal damage, but it cracked my plastic grill and broke a headlight. I had a replacement headlight installed that evening. I waited until the weekend to realign my bumper. Thankfully it wasn't damaged, just knocked a little crooked.

I saw the deer high tailing it into the woods. Think it was sleeping next to a huge tree in my front yard, and jumped out into the street when my truck was heading that way. Never saw anything prior to the "brown" flash in front of my headlight. Thought I would have run over it, but thankfully it didn't go under my truck.
