If it wasn’t before, your major medical insurance should now cover your
visits. My opthamologist has been “following” my wife and I for glaucoma suspect for years. Every six months. No pressure issues. No changes.
I view it as a good thing as an opthamologist will also watch for many other issues and it is paid for. And it is better thathan seeing an optometrist.
Also, I think docs doing this are also motivated by building a client base covered by major medical.
