I used to ride my bike to the one in Herndon, VA with my $5/week allowance.

I’d buy my BMX parts there (Huffy Pro Thunder)

The other thing I’d buy with my allowance was airplane models & paint. If money left over I’d get the balsa wood planes you could get for 99 cents.
