What he did was clearly wrong and there is no doubt about it. That being said if he were one of our kids we would give him the tough love he needs, forgive him for his mistake if he shows genuine remorse, and do everything we can to get him back on track so he can have a successful and happy life. Coach is a parent away from home for kids who can use it and his approach to this seems to reflect that.
