Good stuff. Millersville was D-I in wrestling while I was in school.


My friend who wrestled made nationals which were held at Iowa. He described to me wrestling an Iowa kid. The only people who were there for him were sitting in his corner: his coach (Shorty Hitchcock) and his girlfriend (whom he later married). In the Iowa wrestler's corner was legend Dan Gable and practically the entire Iowa team, since they all qualified for the tournament. And the crowd was mostly Iowa fans in Carver-Hawkeye. Pretty intimidating.

Well, I think he lost to the Iowa kid, but he did finished 8th and became Millersville's first and only D-I All American to date. But man, you talk about the small time vs. the big time.

Also, it is good to see Korbin Myers doing so well for VT. A good Carlisle kid. A Bubbler though.
