Would be rare and risky, but as long as you have your 4 matches and manage to make the at large pool, pretty sure you aren't required to wrestle in your conference tournament this year.

Getting the 4 matches would not be too hard for most.

Qualifying for an at large bid would be the hard part.

I'm not sure how the at large selection process works this year. However, I am guessing if you miss the conference tourney for a non covid reason, that would not be looked at too favorably by those involved in the process.
