There's an enormous difference between that kind of home set up


and actually being a self-employed business with all the obligations. On the one hand, a person seeks clients, works for them and has costs associated with that whole process, which I've just ridiculously oversimplified. On the other hand, an employee gets work, equipment and technology from an employer's sources and has no costs built-in.
