Other than last week against Bullard, he has been just burning clock in the 3rd. Against Bullard I thought riding out and looking for his tilt in the 3rd was a more likely path to a major than cutting and trying for 3 take downs.

Mekhi is certainly more of a known commodity this year, so his success on re attacks may be down this year because opposition knows that's his bread and butter.

I kinda had hoped he would jump up a level on being able to create his own offense this year, but I guess you stay with your strengths.

Though he did create his own offense also against Bullard popping that elbow up to clear room for his shot. Can't remember seeing that from him before.
