I actually do think we will see a ‘split’ at some point where some businesses stop enforcing masks while others in the same ‘space’ continue and I think that is fine. Give folks a choice. As for future pandemics I agree this isn’t the last one by any means but I do hope we have learned some lessons from this one. At least we now know that we can produce effective vaccines very quickly so that should minimize the fear a bit. Hope we have also learned that lockdowns are not the answer if the circumstances with the next one are similar..
