If it gets deeper, you'll want something longer for sure. (TWSS?)
I always thought the 90-94mm was the sweet spot for most out west skiing. I've skied some pretty deep snowfalls with 86-90mm underfoot, but it is a lot more work. I now pull out at least 100's for deep snow, but going that wide really puts a strain on your knees when carving groomers or when it gets packed out...which then quickly just become a "slarve" or skidding type pivot turn just so you don't crush your legs trying to carve a beast width ski.
