I was 7. Vividly remember watching Dale race...


and even more vividly remember that day but that's solely because we were massive race and Dale fans then. I still watch and love racing but college football is 1a now. I still miss Earnhardt, what a man, personality and racer. His biggest legacy now is how his death changed the safety around racing. I believe it was 9 deaths in the top 3 levels of NASCAR the year prior to his death and there have been none since.
