Can anyone explain WTF the FDA is doing with the J&J vaccine?

The first two were approved on the day they were scheduled. J&J is now almost 3 weeks late. Since that one only requires 1 dose, it will move the needle considerably once it is approved and widely available. Crickets from the media. I would think knowing that we could fairly quickly ramp up to 2-2.5 million vaccinations per day (and J&J only requires one!) that more people would be pushing to get this done. Very strange IMHO.
