Interesting observation

I am not a pitching guru by any means, so perhaps a pitcher's parent could weigh in on their experiences with their daughter

Keely is a tough competitor so she's always going to go hard after every batter.

Does she sometimes try to get too "perfect?" It's possible, but I simply don't know. From a layman's perspective, It seems logical that might happen every know and then. Of course, it's also a factor if an umpire is squeezing your strike zone.

This year, Keely is averaging 7.9 Ks and 1.7 walks per 7 innings.

Last year, she averaged 10.6 Ks and 1.4 walks per 7 innings.

But the sample is much, much smaller, so it's a bit of an unfair comparison.

I'm just glad she's on our side!

Keep watching and commenting.

Let's Go Hokies!!!
