I’d give Schon the nod over Van Zant, but it’s a close call.

Schon was noted as an influence for nearly every rock guitarist in the 90s. Journey songs still resonate today and have largely stood the test of time.

Van Zant is synonymous with an entire genre of music. So yeah, close call.
