Other than a few examples like restaurants which are at lower capacity and churches and big gatherings, people are out and about and living their lives. People are touching stuff, and interacting.

The only people that don't realize most people are back to normal are government officials and people still hiding in their houses.

Oh and infection rates, hospitalization rates and deaths are declining since they peaked before thanksgiving (so the idea that the holidays created the spike is not proven by the science). All the same restrictions were in place before the peak and people were not out and about nearly as much as they are now at that point.

Iowa and North Dakota removed pretty much all restrictions a month ago. Their numbers continue to drop too, despite most of that month being a horrible cold spell which in those states mean people get together indoors.
