Yes and no. Yes in the way we have very solid wrestlers at every weight with relatively talented depth meaning our stars like Korbin, Sam, Mekhi, and Bolen getting bonus point will almost assuredly win the dual making built for them.

The way the answer is no we’re not just built for duals is like Primus said matchups matter. Conference tournaments, especially the ACC being such a small conference, tend to cannibalize themselves. When you move into a different tournament setting like NCAAs, CKLV, etc... is where you’ll see the parity of the teams because the star power pulls up the scores with high placers. Using us and the ACC tournament as an example, Mekhi, Sam, and Bolen will more than likely score major points at NCAAs which will put us squarely in the team trophy picture where teams like UNC and UVA will be pushing for Top 10-15ish range.
