She went to her dream school and wasn’t happy with her position. She talked to Brooks about it a lot. They both were not on the same page. It isn’t a big deal. Move on. Wish her luck. This is one transfer we all can’t seem to get over for some reason. What she said was taken out of proportion in my opinion and the COVID situation did not help matters either. Nobody knows the actual back story other then that. I know mental health did play a factor. You want the kid to be happy that is the main thing. She obviously was well liked because Kenny mentioned how she was like a daughter to him and many members of the team and ones that graduated or transferred still talk to her on social media. She is also still friends with all of the previous coaches except Brooks from what I can see. We don’t need to be criticizing someone’s character or decision when we don’t even know the full story and probably never will. Kenny is happy with what he has right now and Mabrey is happy where she is at. That is all that matters.
