despite the first game loss. Good teams have resilience and bounceback which this team has now demonstrated against three separate conference opponents. As important, in my opinion, is that VT has demonstrated far greater depth both in the circle and at the plate than NCSU and its other conference opponents so far, IMO. I thought Roseberry had a solid outing on the road against good competition and Osborne showed good velo but, she was put in a tough position with NCSU smelling blood and coming to take their cuts knowing she had to throw strikes and could not get too cute. Would be nice to get a 3-1 weekend result which would be big on the road. You know NCSU was thinking 3-1 on their end and are now scrambling to salvage a split of the weekend. Hopefully Mac's hand will not be a problem and everyone comes out tomorrow fast and strong looking to shut the door on the weekend. With credit to Bill Yost and his charge to Herman Boone, run it up Pete, leave no doubt.
