Not so fast...


It's been a down year for the ACC which among other things is entering a transitional phase. Syracuse which culturally is not an ACC school. Boeheim is 76. Coach K is 74 or 75? Who replaces legends? Hamilton is 72. Larranaga is 71. Williams is 70. These guys are all at the tail end of their careers. Who wants to sign on to these schools knowing that? It's the same thing that be deviled Beamer in his last years and was used against him. The future of the ACC rides on Young, 57, Bennet, 51, Pastner, 41 et al.
