What is going to do with half a PhD...


I have a number of friends who thought they'd do the PhD based on opportunity, then about 1/3-1/2 way through realized the return on time and investment just wasn't there...

That said unless he has a specific goal that requires a PhD.. he'll be overqualified for most employment opportunities
