due to questions about this very same health issue as well as his inexperience playing the position (only 2 years of college football games played!). Unfortunately his draft position will likely plummet further after this announcement. I think the world of the kid and all he has gone through, but the year he just took off may not have been enough to help him heal, and thus the surgery.
