I think this was nothing new. I went back and looked at his minutes before
Radford got suspended.
Hokies played Longwood on Dec. 21, and everyone played. Joe got 5 minutes.
They then played six straight ACC games against Miami, Louisville, Notre Dame, Duke, Wake and Syracuse. Joe didn't play a single minute in any of them. Cone averaged 20 to 25 minutes, Radford 30 or more.
The seventh game was against Notre Dame and was the first in Radford's suspension. Joe got 8 minutes, Cone 23. He didn't play against UVA (Cone had 26 minutes) then got 6 minutes against Pitt (Cone played 31). His only meaningful minutes were 25 against Miami when Cone got injured and only played 5 minutes and Radford was still suspended.
Radford then came back, and with Cone out, Bam got 8 minutes against GT and 15 against Wake, mainly because it was a blowout.
So it would seem to me based on all that that if Radford and Cone are healthy, Bam's thinking he's not going to see many if any minutes...
