Noooooooooooooooo!
Not that I've been there in a while, make that a long while. Worked at several locations in Arlington, just wait out the traffic and have dinner somewhere along there. Usually hit Wow's for their Monday night 1/2 hamburgers...life was good.
Yeah, they can relocate, but it'll never be the same, from those places located in old buildings that had probably been there from the 40s(the buildings) Viet Garden, Carpools (sigh) the place across the street around the corner from Carpools run by a semi-retired 3-star chef (about as good as it got when I could choose between those two places) the original red hot and blue before all the franchising, Rio Grande before it became part of the Uncle Julio's chain Ray's Hellburger's down the road, (Ray's the Steak's recently closed: no more Ray's) Now all turning into condos w/restaurants that have "grill" "tavern" "bistro" in the name.
Can't imagine where they'd go. Still love Rocklands which moved from their association with Carpools over to Arlington Blvd in yes, an older building. Hit it when I park and catch a metro into DC.
Things changed, and as I said, haven't been there in a while so can't complain.
