Yeah, I know, I know, not that I didn't like them just it wasn't what I was into, eg, I was more into Americana. Then about 5-10 years ago I discover all these anthemic tunes. This is all partly because I've worn out a lot of my tastes and looking around/open minded about listening to other stuff now.

Linda Ronstadt is interesting. Loved her, but only for about 2-3 years, in fact, probably ending when I saw her at VT mid 70s. I've sorta gone through a re-appreciation cycle more recently. To put my finger on it, the way she stepped up to the mike and just turned it on.
