I suppose that is a positive way to look at it, but the vast majority of VT


basketball fans are bummed about losing our best pure shooter (one of the best in the ACC/country) and our top rated recruit with amazing talent, both still young players with lots of opportunities ahead to excel for VT's basketball program. It's a negative, no way around it. Sure, we "might" find someone bigger and more physical, but I doubt they shoot like Cone and Bam. I actually prefer pure shooters above all else and we just lost two, so it sure would be nice if the hypothetical bigger-more physical players also happen to be pure shooters. And if Cone's role was a valuable role the past two years, which I believe it was, I doubt we find anyone that can shoot the 3 like he did fill that role.
