I don't think he will because nobody in this league is going to give him what he's looking for which is the opportunity to run the point for extended periods of time.

MY runs the ideal system for him and I think Jalen knows that, but he has higher level aspirations and wants to test himself to see if he can get there. No other coach is going to play Cone 20mpg and repeatedly run plays every time down the court to get him a shot. To graduate from that role he needs to play a lot of minutes at point guard, which he wasn't ready to do.

Jalen led the team in field goal attempts per minute, and it wasn't even close (25% more than Aluma who's 2nd). When on the court he took a shot roughly every 2 minutes.
