...as those give them the flexibility to revert to "standard" operations during slower times. But I totally agree with you - when it comes waiting in line that long for food, I don't consider theirs to be worthy of the hassle. I posted recently about how the Chick-fil-A in my neighborhood is one of the rare "bad" locations, and they totally stopped accepting mobile orders a few months ago because they simply couldn't keep up. And the traffic is not as bad at this location as some of the others around town, yet the line moves more slowly. The management/personnel just aren't as competent. I've all but totally stopped going there, and I don't miss the food. Sure, if a Chick-fil-A is nearby and the line is short, I'll stop in. I do enjoy their food - I just don't LOVE it. But I will l give it to the company - their service blows away the rest of the fast food industry, and they (almost) universally have their systems figured out down to a science. The location near me is an anomaly.

Jason's Deli is my go-to for ordering food. There is one in the same shopping center as the Chick-fil-A near me, and I can place a mobile or phone order and it will almost always be ready by the time I arrive to pick it up. Their food is great, and (depending on what you order) generally healthier than Chick-fil-A.
