some good and deserving teams left and games should be fun to watch. I will not say it is a fluke. You win You earn it. As far as evaluating conferences and determining whether it is a cycle or some longer term trend that all depends on the window of evaluation picked. That's why the SEC in football and the ACC in basketball(yes they were bad this year) are considered the standards in those sports, respectively. They have done it over an extended period of time. Before this year, is Arizona the last PAC12 basketball champion in 1997? Izzo and MSU from the Big 10? If you accumulate football and basketball national champions as a combined total(pick a period say this century), it is the SEC and ACC as top 2 and nobody else is close. You can go back further but, you have to get to the 60s and 70s and the Wizard of Westwood before things really start tightening up I think.
