Do we know where his wife is from?
He’s from MD, so he’s pretty close to home for him, but not sure about her.
Luckily the sport of softball, coaches at high profile programs are pretty entrenched. Plus the priority to win now in softball is lower vs basketball and football. And the programs with recent turnover aren’t super desirable. Based on geography, an SEC program would probably be the only one he might go to. I don’t see him leaving for another ACC program unless Clemson really gets things going cause Loni at FSU isn’t going anywhere.
Programs I’d be worried about are Auburn, Georgia and Tennessee. Auburn would be if Mickey Dean doesn’t work out. He’s been up and down there and as long as the “keeping up with Bama” doesn’t creep into softball there, he’ll be alright. UGA and UT are how long does Lou Harris Champer at UGA and the Weekly’s at UT want to coach? Does Karen want to continue to coach even if Ralph retires?
Ole Miss and Miss St have had recent turnover, but I don’t see them as desirable/ an easier path to Supers or the WCWS.
