I read your post this morning and remembered him well. So I then went to


YouTube to do a bit of Canned Heat reminiscing. Well, you know how YouTube is . . . I ended up wandering thru the histories of The Young Rascals (first album I ever bought)/The Rascals, Felix Cavaliere interview, The Monkees (once managed by Jack Nicholson who also helped write and direct their movie), Vince Gill interview, Kris Kristofferson interview about Bobby McGee and Janis Joplin, Alice Cooper (whom I once met together with Shep Gordon while working at Doral CC in Miami) who hung out some with Micky Dolenz . . . et al. More than a couple of times YouTube meandering trips have taken away a big portion of my days.
