I had an aunt who used to pick wild blackberries to make jam. She fell


leaning to reach for a blackberry into a thick mess of blackberry vines, which has thorns, head first upside down on the side of a hill & needed to scream for help to get out. It was summer and she was wearing shorts so she had scratches all over her arms and legs by the time someone came along to help her back up the hill.
