Hmmmm....

I'm not going to count people I've gotten autographs from (Boog Powell, Hank Aaron, to name two of the best), or met at a charity event (Eddie Murray), or even shared an elevator ride with (Roth & Burnop).

To me, the definition of meeting is that they at least were told my name. I don't care if they met 100 people that day and forgot my name ten seconds afterwards. If they at least knew for a brief time that I was "Steve" and not "stranger asking for autograph", then I will count them.

And with that definition, my list is pretty weak. No presidents or Hall of Famers...

Antonio Freeman
Mary Beth Evans (soap opera actress)
Buzz Nutter (VT OLman from early 50s, played for the 1958 World Champion Baltimore Colts)
Sergio Render (VT OLman) -- talked to him at the bar at Bull & Bones for quite a while once
Will Stewart
Tony Pente (basically "the Will Stewart" of the top Orioles fan site)

Random encounters that didn't meet the "know my name criteria" but at least a hello, and not autograph/charity event related:

Wes Unseld in a Subway sandwich shop
Jose Canseco in a Hooters (he seemed like a real nice guy, surprisingly)
Ozzie Canseco (Jose's twin brother, seemed like kind of a d-bag, sat near him at a game)
Charles Barkley (he was in a luxury box, I was in the club seats right in front of the box, my friend and I turned around and said hi, wished him luck in the upcoming Olympics)
Dick Stockton (sat near on a plane flight)
pitcher Scott Erickson (bar after O's game)
pitcher Norm Charlton (bar after O's game)
I was once in line behind Bruce Smith at Philly Chee Steak on College Avenue
Shook hands with the guys from the band Fastball (Miles Zuniga, Tony Scalza) after one of their shows
Baltimore newscaster Mary Beth Marsden (drunk friend of mine tried to hit on her at a bar we were at)
Sat right near Bud Foster at the FSU/VT basketball game Feb 2020 (still the last sporting event I have attended)
Baltimore weatherman Marty Bass (he was really drunk at a bar in Fells Point)
Said hit to Rick Dempsey in the poker room at a Baltimore casino
