called the next day to inform me, what I pretty much suspected because of my fever, that I had COVID. Luckily, fever was my only symptom and it only lasted 3 days. They also said I needed to stay quarantined for a period of 10 days from the start of my first symptom. After 10 days I would not be contagious whether my symptoms persisted or not. I double questioned that advise and that’s what they told me on 3/3/20. They said don’t get tested again because you will test positive again but there is no point. That to me says I don’t need to wear a mask. I mostly do when I go into a business just because I try to respect others feelings & what I consider flat out paranoia stirred up by our media. I also find it interesting seeing some people get offended if someone isn’t wearing a mask, when they themselves don’t wear a mask all of the time in public or wear it properly when they do. It’s my impression it’s more about a power trip play than an actual fear of COVID.
I doubt we’ll ever get a “truly accurate” final assessment as to the real seriousness of this virus because it’s been so hyper politicized within this country & worldwide. I certainly don’t trust everything from the CDC. They have an agenda, too.
