I think the lesson there is Virginia Tech is at a disadvantage recruiting

Against schools with the reputation of an Auburn, Alabama, Ohio State, Etc. We're just clearly not at the same level, and that's important to most recruits. Personally, I'm okay, but not happy, when we lose recruits to schools clearly a step ahead of us. It's when we lose recruits to schools at our level or below that's a real problem. And when we stop getting recruits that we used to be able to get.
