I feel the same way.

I watched those "ultimate" build/restoration shows, which I still find fascinating, but I do enjoy "regular guys" doing whatever it takes to get a heap of junk on the road, and to drive great distances.

The funniest episode IMHO was when they took the lowrider "off road" to Vegas. At least they started to take it to Vegas, but I think it beat them up so much they only made it a few miles off-road before they headed for pavement...lol
