I had the face replaced on my first 3rd gen
I'll never do that again. I'll just buy a new (current) gen. When replacing the face cost more than half of the watch's original purchase price...it's not worth repairing.
I bought a cheap protective cover for whenever I do yard work. I think my weed-whacker kicked a rock up that cracked the face. It was fine before I started, but I noticed the damage afterwards. The mower doesn't kick anything back at me, so...
