That sucker was right down Broadway. There is no way you ever take that, game on the line or not. That was a gift. I realistically think she could’ve taken that one deep. You have to be situationally aware there. Yes, if she’d swung at a pitch out of the zone to end the game some people would’ve bitched but I’m always more ok w that than I am going down looking. Especially when the call isn’t even close. If you swing, by definition it is for good reason and at least you have a shot at fouling it off and staying alive if it doesn’t go for a hit.

Ugh. Ugh. Ugh.
