I did look at the last 5 tournaments…


The SEC could actually get that many.

2015: 7 host regionals
2016: 8 host regionals
2017: 8 host regionals
2018: 9 host regionals
2019: 6 host regionals

When I started in 2019, I was like that’s a good sign. However the further I went back, it got me worried. Unfortunately I could see a scenario where both VT and Clemson head on the road as 2 seeds at lower seeded (14-16) SEC teams.
