There are a number of joint preparations with glucosamine, chondroitin, etc


And based on my knowledge of digestion and animal physiology, they should not work at all. Zero.zero reason to think they should help even a little.

Worth noting, based on my experience with an aging dog, they work very, very well. Like life changing well.

We used Cosequin and/or a product from Amazon called PetNC Hip and Joint. we had a 15 year old golden/chow mix that struggled to get up off the floor. these products plus the nsaid bought him a quality 8-10 months...
