One company I worked for was a small startup that got acquired by a

big multinational corp.

For the longest time, our monthly financials were reported in thousands of dollars. When we got a new sale or an operations hiccup that added or lost $50K, it was quite newsworthy.

After the acquisition, financials were reported in billions of dollars. Our entire operation wasn't much better than a rounding error.
