If so, I don't think the shot would relieve the inflammation.

If you previously had COVID, your body has already created antibodies. I'm not sure what the shot would offer in the way of anti-inflammatory properties, as it's designed to help your body create antibodies (or so they say). But, I'm only a Lounge doctor, so don't listen to me.
