Mulkey is a mega star coach. She can sell ice to an eskimo. She was the biggest fundraiser at Baylor, all sports. She was big part of fundraising for their new basketball arena. One single donation was $10 million. Baylor WBB was always sold out.
There are a ton of rich donors in TX & LA. She doesn't need to buy tickets to prove herself. This is powerhouse LSU fan base with lots of $$ (not struggling VT). I have several LSU friends in TX & LA who just bought 10 season tickets & they have never bought women's BB season tickets before.
