Hoka for me and it's not even close

I ran in Asics for decades, but about 6-7 years ago noticed they weren't doing enough to prevent pain in my knees and hips. Switched to the 1st gen Hoka Clifton and the joint pain disappeared. I think it's a combination of the ridiculous amount of cushion the shoes have, plus the different way they position the foot and thus your stride. The shoes lasted about 2-3 times longer than Asics too, so well worth the extra $$.

HOKA is very soft. Lots of cushion. Short on stability. -- great2bahokie 05/05/2021 12:16PM

Try Hooka and maybe you won't need the Hoka. ** -- Late 80s Hokie 05/05/2021 08:10AM
